I have been crazy for animals as far back as I can remember and eventually I grew up to work in the veterinary field for almost 10 years. I literally took my work home with me, nursing countless birds, squirrels and other critters back to health. I bottle-fed and raised many litters of orphaned kittens and fostered, then found homes for many dogs and cats.  If there is an animal in need, I can’t help but feel responsible for them.

I’m no longer working in a veterinary hospital, but my desire to help animals is as strong as ever. The result is a happy home full of dogs and cats. I look forward to introducing my dogs, sharing stories about them, posting helpful tips and links and I hope hearing from lots of other pet people. Be sure to leave a comment!
